FOOD in the Spanish Speaking Countries. Create a poster or a booklet.

- Your first page should include information about you in Spanish: Write sentences: name, age, place of birth, birthday, favorite month, favorite season and the weather condition in that season, your favorite animal ,and your favorite color, favorite sport, sport you practice and a short physical description of yourself: color of your eyes, color or your hair, your height (tall or short). You can include a picture of you.
1. Select three (3) Spanish Speaking countries. Find information about:
- What type of food these countries have. Describe how these food are. Choose at least one dish to describe for each country.
- What do they eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? How can their meals be compared to the United States?
- What are some of their typical or traditional food, describe them -you do not need to write a complete recipe- (food for festivals, or holidays), Do they have special meals for celebrations? Example Christmas or any other festivity. if so, what are they? Take notes of your findings and compare them to the United states.
- Are any of the fruits and veggies you see in the supermarket from those countries? Does the United States import or export any?
- What are some of the ingredients they use in their daily cooking?
- How is the food in the countries you researched different from what you eat in the United States from your point of view?Explain.
Don't forget to include references. Title of the article, author and web page where you get the information from. You will have to include in your final report a list of references/bibliography.
Extra credit:
If you were a chef what will you cook to represent one of those three countries? Select a recipe and share it with the class. Don't bring cooked food unless it is something you buy. Be creative to tell the class about the recipe. You can also record a video of you cooking. (the recording of the video is optional)
